Rabbi Marla Hornsten is the co-chair of the Coalition for Black and Jewish Unity. Since becoming the first female rabbi at Temple Israel in 2000, Hornsten has led domestic violence prevention, women’s advocacy and social equality efforts locally and nationwide.
