Nate Turner is a recent graduate from Eastern Michigan University where he earned a bachelor's degree in history. He writes primarily about medical history, focusing on the history of pandemics. He's written extensively on the 1918 influenza pandemic, HIV/AIDS in the US as well as in Africa, and on the various plagues. He is from Grand Haven.
